  2. Record the opening and surrounding cabinet depth; check which surfaces define each measurement.
  3. For built-in models, confirm the exact trim kit and its separate cutout instructions.
  4. For over-the-range models, check mounting support, cooking-surface clearance, ventilation route and electrical supply.
