Repair or replace? Start with what is actually broken.
A damaged rack wheel or basket and an undiagnosed leak are different decisions. Our parts tools document exact manufacturer model applications; they do not diagnose an appliance from its symptoms.
If the damaged component is identifiable
- Record the complete model and revision from the appliance label.
- Use the model's parts diagram to distinguish the wheel, carrier, basket, rack stop or another component.
- Check whether the current replacement is a single part or a larger kit, including any documented number changes.
- Compare the exact replacement price, package contents, shipping and return terms. Ask a service professional about fitting it if needed.

If the problem is washing, draining, leaking or electrical
Those symptoms do not identify a specific failed part. Obtain a diagnosis and written repair quote before buying a guessed component. Check any applicable warranty or service coverage.
Compare complete costs and remaining uncertainty
Ask what the repair quote includes and what happens if the initial repair does not resolve the problem. Compare that quote with the complete replacement cost, including removal and installation. There is no universal percentage rule that settles every case.
If you decide to replace it
Start with the old model lookup, then measure the opening itself. An archived appliance-body dimension is not permission to use that number as the new machine's cabinet requirement.
